Historically, the nation’s educational system has used mainstream, Eurocentric ideology to instruct and indoctrinate students of all ethnicities. Students that come from all walks of life, who possess various inherited traditions, and cultures, which influences their learning styles. Students that deserved to have their life experiences and learning styles included in their informative education. Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the Father of Black History Week/Month., argued: “If a race has no history, if it has no worthwhile tradition, it becomes a negligible factor in the thought of the world, and it stands in danger of being exterminated.” The Chinue X Project Inc., An Afrocentric Educational Resource Service (TCXPI AERS) seeks to provide afrocentric education that places African and African Americans young scholars at the center of their education, so that they are victors, not victims. Through non-traditional education, various topics are used to teach and instruct.
TCXPI Presents The Flags of Africa – Alkebulan seeks to educate the masses on the 54 fully recognised states of Africa. It brings awareness to their decolonization, flag colors, and location.
