The Chinue X Project, Inc. (TCXPI), An Afrocentric Educational Resource Service is a remarkable initiative founded by Cynthia Diana Cornelius MA Ed., also known as Chinue X.
Born and raised in Oakland, CA and a product of the Black Panther Party and the Black Power Movement, she is a life long learner in Education for the uplifting of Africans/Black Americans.
She completed her Bachelors in Africana Studies (2008), and her Masters in Equity and Social Justice in Education (2013), both at San Francisco State University, respectively. Her expertise and knowledge base speaks to the many significant contributions made by people of African descent to world and human civilization since the beginning of time. Those same contributions that have been overlooked, distorted and/or intentionally omitted by mainstream society quest for power and control.
This project is dedicated to providing Afrocentric educational resources and promoting the rich history and contributions of people of African descent. Here are some key aspects of TCXPI:
1. Educational Resources: TCXPI offers a variety of resources aimed at educating children and youth about their heritage and the significant contributions of their ancestors to world civilization.
2. Daily African/Black History Facts: The project disseminates daily facts to raise awareness and celebrate the achievements of people of African descent.
3. Community Engagement: TCXPI is actively involved in community, organizing events and programs to support Afrocentric education.
