My entire journey has included a personal and informative search of education that was omitted in my informative years. That culturally relevant and sustaining instruction that was purposefully omitted and distorted to appease the mainstream hegemony that most of us received. An indoctrination that placed eurocentric ideology as the defining viewpoint of the world.
