TCXPI Young Scholars Enrichment Program is designed as a “non-traditional” classroom setting. Its subject matter will focus on Cultarally Relevant and Sustaining, Afrocentric, and Liberation Pedagogy that speaks to and compliments their African Ancestry.

Using Afrocentric and Liberatory ideologies, there will be four quarterly six-week sessions for youth 8-15 yo in Oakland's underserved/disadvantaged communities. (Limited to 10-15 youth per session)

The following questions will be pertinent to each session:
Who we are?
Who do we want to be?
What sustains us?
What connects us? What do we care about most?
What kind of life do we want for the future?
